Fred Fletcher-Fierro
General Manager, Morning Edition Host, Journalist, Content and News Director, Digital ProducerSince 2017 Fred Fletcher-Fierro has driven up Highway 171 through thunderstorms, downpours, snow, and ice storms to host KRPS’s Morning Edition. He’s also a daily reporter for the station, covering city government, elections, public safety, arts, entertainment, culture, and more. Fred has also spearheaded and overseen a sea change in programming for KRPS from a legacy classical station to one that airs a balance of classical, news, jazz, and cultural programming that better reflects the diverse audience of the Four States.
In addition to programming, hosting, and reporting, Fred worked with NPR and personnel at Pittsburg State to create and launch this website. Regardless of the small staff of KRPS, he felt that listeners across the Four States deserved an up-to-date website where listeners learn more about the news stories, shows, and all of the details that make KRPS what it is today.

Usage of BNPL services is nearly equal across all income levels. 40% of survey respondents from income levels $0 - $40,000 and $40,000 - $80,000 said they had used the service at least once. While 43% of those surveyed earning between $80,000 - $99,999 and 39% of those who earned over $100,000 indicated that they had used BNPL.

To avoid toll road scams, the BBB suggests verifying your outstanding toll balance with a legitimate agency, and knowing the warning signs of a fake text. Also, don’t click on links or download files that are unexpectedly texted to you. If you believe that you’ve been contracted by a scammer, block the number and delete the message. Finally, if you receive a text message impersonating a road toll collection service report it to the BBB’s Scam Tracker.

Pitt State Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Jim Johnson accepted the 2023-24 Commissioner's Cup from representatives from MIAA Commissioner Mike Racy. This is the Gorillas' third consecutive Commissioner's Cup victory.
