The Santa Claus Fly-In is taking place this Saturday December 13 from 1 to 3 pm at the Freedom of Flight Museum in Joplin.
David Smith’s An Evening with Chris Kringle is happening Friday December 19th starting at 6:30 pm.
Jingle and Jam is on the schedule for Saturday December 20 from 10:30 am until noon at the Neosho Fish Hatchery in Neosho, Missouri.
Raegan's Southwest Missouri events -
The Joplin Public Library is hosting a scholastic chess tournament on December 13th at 9 a.m. There will be a rated open section and sections for K-8 players and K-12 players. Advanced registration is requested. More details can be found on the library’s website.
Also on December 13th is the Holiday Open House at the George Washington Carver National Monument. From 1 to 3 p.m. there will be music, arts, crafts, and refreshments.
And December 19th, see An Evening in Kringle City performed by David Smith at the Cornell Complex in Joplin. The performance combines music, humor, and storytelling and will start at 6:30 p.m.

December 13th, BTC Athletics and Dance is performing ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas at Memorial Auditorium in Pittsburg. It features a mix of ballet, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary dance. There will be a performance at 10 a.m. and one at 4 p.m.
Also December 13th, In the Garden in Pittsburg is hosting the 4th Street Market. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., shop crafts, baked goods, jewelry, clothing, and more from local vendors.
And on December 14th, see the sing along version of Frozen at Memorial Auditorium. Tickets can be purchased beforehand on Memorial Auditorium’s website. The movie will start at 2 p.m. on the 14th.
