The non-profit Historic Murphysburg Preservation in Joplin hosts the second annual Murphysburg Treasure Hunt, a race to solve riddles, uncover clues, and explore the city's rich history. Molly Healy is the second performer at this year's Big Spring Concert Series in Neosho. Healy plays orchestral folk and cello. The performance is Thursday May 21 starting at 6:30. The concert is free to attend and hosted by the Neosho Arts Council.

May 1st and 2nd, motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to the annual A.B.A.T.E. of Kansas Bike Show and Rally at the Crawford County Fairgrounds. In addition to the show, there will also be live music and a cornhole tournament.
Also May 2nd is the Crawford County Historical Museum’s Cow Creek Wild West Town. From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., see hands-on demonstrations, western skits and shows, trick roping and more.
And May 8th, entrepreneur Daymond John from Shark Tank will be speaking at Pitt State’s Bicknell Family Center for the Arts, starting at 7 p.m. Tickets can be bought at the PSU ticket office or online at pittstate.edu/tickets.
May 2nd, see how glass flowers are made at a Makerspace Live Demonstration at the Joplin Public Library. Attendees will also see basic glass-cutting techniques. That starts at 11:30 in the library’s community room.
May 5th, former NASCAR driver Kyle Petty and others will be in Joplin for the 30th annual Charity Ride Across America. They’ll be at the Joplin 44 Petro at 2 p.m. Memorabilia will be available, and donations can be made to the children’s charity Victory Junction.
And starting May 7th, the Evans Carnival will be at the Northpark Mall in Joplin with rides, games and food. It will be open at 6 p.m. on weeknights and 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
