100 Women Who Care of Jasper and Newton Co. quarterly meeting - July 29

100 Women Who Care of Jasper and Newton Co will hold their quarterly meeting on Tuesday, July 29th at the Joplin Public Library. They will hear a 10-minute presentation from 3 local 501c3 charities. The members who are attending will then vote for their favorite charity. The charity with the most votes will receive a $100 check from each member. 100 Women Who Care is an international organization created for the busy lady with a heart for local charities. The meetings are 1 hour or less. There is no fundraising event, no black dress and no dinner to attend. Members listen, vote, and then give. Members nominate local charities for the next meeting by putting their names in a hat. Three charities are drawn out of the hat for the next meeting. Winning charities have 3 rules: send an acknowledgement to each member, do not add any member to their solicitation list, and return to the next meeting to tell us how exactly the funds were spent.
Guests are welcome. Interested parties may become members before are during the meeting. Interested ladies may call 417.529.3682 or email 100WWCJN@gmail.com for more information.
