49th Annual Traditional Karate Tournament

FREE FOR ALL SPECTATORS

Japan Karate-Do Genbu-Kai of Kansas will be hosting our 49th Annual Karate Tournament this Saturday, April 25th at the St. Mary's Colgan Fieldhouse, 285 E 10th St, Pittsburg, Kansas. This is a traditional invitational karate tournament with 100-125 competitors regionally and throughout the United States competing in kata (forms), kumite (sparring), kobudo (Okinawan weapons), and batto (Japanese sword).

Opening Ceremony begins at 9:00am and is open to the public. There is no admission fee for spectators.
Once again, competitors will have the opportunity to compete for unique Kansas Demura Cup medals.
