Thomas Jefferson Independent Day School presents THE SUMMER SYMPHONY performing highlights from Opera and Ballet
The Summer Symphony is a full orchestra consisting of area teachers, professional and amateur musicians, and advanced students. The group comes together each summer to present a free concert. This year, the group will play orchestra highlights from great operas and ballets including music from Carmen, Aida, La Boheme, Samson and Delilah, the Firebird, and Swan Lake. Each piece is not long, and the concert is less than an hour, making it a great event for families.
