The Neosho National Fish Hatchery is holding their annual Veteran's Fishing Derby on Saturday May 17th. Registration begins at 8:00am with opening ceremonies starting at 9:00 am. After that it is free fishing until noon. There is a 4 trout limit with no catch and release. Volunteers will be on hand to clean your catch and bag them on ice. To prevent contamination, please do not bring any of your own gear, everything is provided. Bring your own chair and a cooler for your catch. A hot dog lunch provided.
