Veterans Fishing Derby

Neosho National Fish Hatchery's annual Veteran's Fishing Derby. Open to all veteran and Active-duty military personnel with proof of service required. Registration starts at 8:00 am, Opening Ceremonies at 9:00 am and free fishing until noon. 4 fish limit, no catch and release, no personal gear allowed to prevent contamination. Just bring a cooler to take your catch home, volunteers on site to clean and bag your fish on ice. Bring your own chair. Hot dog lunch provided.
