WWI: France Hoped Fake Paris Would Fool Germany

Moody's Investors Service Upgrades U.S. Debt
Moody's lifted the rating from "negative" to "stable" and affirmed the country's AAA rating. In a statement, it said the U.S. economy has demonstrated resilience in the face of major cuts to government spending. The country is on track to report its lowest annual deficit in five years.

Hockey legend Jaromir Jagr was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1990. The 51-year-old former NHL star made an appearance on the ice this week for the Kladno Knights, a team in the Czech Republic.

Adam Walsh Murder Case Closed
The more than two-decade-old investigation into who killed 6-year-old Adam Walsh, the son of America's Most Wanted host John Walsh, in 1981 has come to a close. Police in Florida say Ottis Toole, a serial killer who died in prison in 1996, decapitated Adam Walsh.
