Judge orders Gardner, assistant to face contempt of court for no-shows in shooting case
The case is set for a hearing May 30. This is the second time this week Gardner has been ordered to explain why prosecutors from her office did not show up in court.
Parson threatens to call special session on transgender health, sports restrictions in Missouri
While the Missouri House and Senate have both passed their own versions of bills restricting access for gender-affirming health care and sports participation for transgender youth, no bill has passed both chambers. With two weeks remaining in session, Parson said he’s prepared to call lawmakers back to pass the bills.
