Weekday Changes
Starting Monday, January 1, 2024, KRPS will bring you the very best of news and information every day with the addition of NPR’s Here & Now Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 1 pm and Friday from 11 am to 12 pm.
In addition to Fresh Air weekdays, starting Tuesday 1/2 at 1 pm with a rebroadcast at 7 pm.
KRPS will also be adding another hour of NPR’s All Things Considered Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 pm.
After many requests from listeners, KRPS will add Science Friday with host Ira Flatow every Friday afternoon from 1 to 3 pm. In addition to the first hour of SciFri Sunday morning at 5.
As a result of the addition of an extra hour of All Things Considered, The World with hosts Marco Werman and Carolyn Beeler will air at 2 pm with a rebroadcast at 10 pm Monday through Friday.

The news won’t stop when the sun goes down
Join us Monday through Thursday from 8:00 to 8:30 pm for All Things Considered, followed up by The Daily from 8:30 to 9 pm.
Starting on January 1st, Monday through Thursday at 9 pm KRPS welcomes Think.
Think is a national talk show hosted by acclaimed journalist Krys Boyd and produced by KERA. Each weekday, listeners across the country tune in to hear thought-provoking, in-depth conversations with authors, journalists, and newsmakers from across the globe. Think invites listeners to tweet, call, or email questions and comments for the show’s guests.
Also, join us for a rebroadcast of The World with hosts Marco Werman and Carolyn Beeler Monday through Friday at 10 pm.
Weekend Changes
KRPS will add an extra hour of NPR News with Weekend Edition on Saturday and Sunday expanding to 7 to 10 am.
In addition to adding Newshour from the BBC World Service on Saturdays at 3 pm followed by All Things Considered at 4.
With live news additions of Newshour and ATC KRPS will shift The New Yorker Radio Hour to Saturdays at 5 pm and Freakonomics at 6 pm.
If you love jazz and blues join us for Blue Dimensions and Notes From The Jazz Underground an hour earlier. Blue Dimensions will now air Saturdays at 9 pm followed by Notes from the Jazz Underground at 10 pm.
High Country Celtic Radio joins the KRPS schedules on Sunday evenings at 8 pm.
Join us every Sunday evening at 10 for an hour of curated stories from PRX Remix.
Also, news lovers will enjoy an extra hour of the BBC World Service now starting at 11 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
