Keenagers chorus Christmas Memories Concert at Riverton High School Auditorium with Labette Community Orchestra. Both are directed by Scott Nelson. Singers and musicians performing are from Girard and Pittsburg in Kansas and southwest Missouri. Free admission. Sunday December 7 starting at 3 pm.
Join Pittsburg State’s College of Arts and Sciences for a tour of the night sky followed by our feature presentation Messengers of Time and Space! This immersive experience invites the audience to explore the dynamic cosmos, witnessing the transformative impact of real-time data on our understanding of the Universe. Topic - Pondering the Pond as Wildlife Habitat -
Special guest speaker - Linda Bower, videographer & Missouri Master Naturalist, spent seven years filming wildlife in and around a pond on digital microscopes, trail cams and camcorders. She identified over 100 species from tardigrades to bobcats. Bower’s amazing footage provides evidence that ponds are essential to supporting wildlife. We will also discuss how to create a great wildlife pond.

The Ozark Festival Orchestra will continue its 46th season of concerts in Monett at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, at the Monett High School Performing Arts Center with a celebration of Christmas. Under the baton of music director Carla Wootton, the OFO will play holiday favorites and have soloists present excerpts from Handel’s “Messiah.”
Tis the season for Missouri Southern State's annual A Seasonal Choral Flourish! Join us for timeless Christmas carols that narrate the characters of the Christmas story. 'Come and behold' the MSSU Choirs and guest musicians begin your holiday season and, maybe even join in the singing yourself! Saturday, December 6 7:30 PM
Historic Murphysburg Preservation, Inc. will host an afternoon tea on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 12 Noon and again at 3:00 p.m. Guests will be treated to a tour and historical account of the house while enjoying the holiday decorations. Period costumes (early 1900s) are welcome but are not required.
