This year's Ozark Gateway Audubon Christmas Bird Count is already underway. This is the National Audubon Society's 126th year.
Trinity Lutheran Church, Freistatt, Missouri will be presenting “Journey of Promises”, a Christmas cantata this Saturday December 20.
Jingle & Jam: A Holiday Sing-along, Play-along Adventure is happening this Saturday December 20 from 10:30 until noon at the Neosho Fish Hatchery.

Pittsburg First United Methodist Church is hosting a Community Blue Christmas service this Sunday December 21 starting at 4 pm.
The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks is partnering with Mercy Hospital in Pittsburg to host a blood drive this Friday, Dec. 19.
The Glide Synthetic Ice Skating Rink in Downtown Fort Scott is open Thursday through Sunday through the first weekend of January.

December 19th, the Girard Public Library is hosting a holiday concert, featuring live performances of Christmas classics for the whole family. That will start at 6 p.m.
ArtForms Gallery in Pittsburg is hosting a young artist workshop on December 22nd, designed for kids ages 7 to 12. Participants will learn blending and texture techniques with acrylic paint. That starts at 1 p.m. and costs $30. Reservations can be made by calling the gallery.
And Camp Now & Then is in session December 22nd, 23rd and 24th. Activities for kids include games, sports, crafts and more. It goes from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day at Lincoln Center in Pittsburg. More details can be found on the City of Pittsburg website.

December 20th, there will be a community choir concert at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt, MO. 40 members from area communities will perform the Christmas cantata Journey of Promises. That starts at 7 p.m.
December 20th and 21st, the George Washington Carver National Monument is showing the PBS documentary Christmas in Yellowstone, which shows the inhospitality and serenity of the park. That will start at 1 p.m. both days.
And the Way of Salvation Christmas Light Display in Carthage is open through New Years Day. Drive through any time between 6 and 10:30 p.m. to see the illuminated sculptures.
