While most people try to avoid ticks during the summer, Pittsburg State assistant professor Anuradha Ghosh and one of her graduate students are hoping to find them. They are collecting ticks as part of a four-year surveillance study and research project that aims to provide new and valuable information about the prevalence of ticks and tick-borne illnesses in Southeast Kansas.
