This is our 6th annual Literacy Liftoff, a free community event in Joplin, MO that fundraises for Joplin NALA Read.
NALA is a nonprofit that has operated in Joplin for 45 years. We provide free tutoring services in reading, math, digital literacy, civics, and English as a second language.
We will have hot air balloons giving rides in exchange for donations, great and small, as well as food trucks, tables with activities from our community partners, and a fabulous raffle with all sorts of fantastic items to be bid on.
Join us for an evening of family fun while doing some good for NALA!

Bourbon County Community Theatre performs Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka TYA on Aug. 7 at 7 p.m. and Aug. 8 at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for children. Tickets are reserved seats at bcct.ludus.com or at the door. Doors open 30 min. prior to show time.
