100 Women Who Care Jasper/Newton chapter meets quarterly to hear from three local charities. Each charity has 10 minutes to present their mission and answer question. A vote is taken. The charity that has the most votes becomes the charity the chapter supports. Each member of 100 Women Who Care donates $100 to the winning charity. With just over 50 members, the charity receives a bit more than $5,000. It is a win/win for all. Members are not required to run a 5K, purchase a black dress or eat a dry over price chicken meal. The losing charities are often nominated and draw out of a hat and asked to return.
If you have a heart for our struggling charities and care about the people they serve, JOIN us! Just one hour and $100 each quarter. We have given over $107,000 to local charites making a difference in many lifes.

This is our 6th annual Literacy Liftoff, a free community event in Joplin, MO that fundraises for Joplin NALA Read.
NALA is a nonprofit that has operated in Joplin for 45 years. We provide free tutoring services in reading, math, digital literacy, civics, and English as a second language.
We will have hot air balloons giving rides in exchange for donations, great and small, as well as food trucks, tables with activities from our community partners, and a fabulous raffle with all sorts of fantastic items to be bid on.

For 18 years we offer Free, Family friendly, date night fun, walkability, on street parking, 6 or more inside venues monthly with receptions and artists to greet you! Live solo musicians at 3 venues.

We are open every Saturday, all year around! Come shop the largest selection of freshly picked and locally grown fruits and veggies in the area. Our farmers grow winter veggies in hoop houses and greenhouses. Support your local Farmers!!
